Warning Before Taking Viagra

  • Do not take Viagra if you are allergic to this drug or to sildenafil.
  • Do not take Viagra if you are taking nitrates or riociguat.

  • Tell your doctor that you are taking Viagra if you are planning surgery, including dental surgery.
  • Do not drive a vehicle or do activities that require alertness while using Viagra, as this medicine can cause dizziness or blurred vision.
  • See your doctor immediately if you have an allergic drug reaction, serious side effect, or overdose after taking Viagra.

Dosage and Instructions for Use Viagra

Viagra will be given by a doctor with a dose that is adjusted to the patient’s condition. In general, the dose of Viagra to treat erectile dysfunction in adult patients is 50 mg per day. The dose can be reduced or increased according to the patient’s condition. The maximum dose of Viagra is 100 mg.

How to Take Viagra Correctly

  • Increased risk of dangerous hypotension when used with nitrates or alpha-blockers, such as doxazosin

Side Effects and Dangers of Viagra

Sildenafil contained in Viagra can cause side effects, such as:

  • Dizziness or headache
  • Warmth in the face, neck, or chest (flushing)
  • Difficulty distinguishing blue and green or blurred vision

Check with your doctor if the side effects above do not subside or get worse. See your doctor right away if you have an allergic reaction to a drug or experience serious side effects, such as:

  • Erections that last longer and are painful
  • Sudden blindness
  • Sudden deafness
  • Ringing ears
